Elbow
The elbow allows flexion, extension and rotation of the forearm, and is essential in everyday activities and sports. Its anatomical complexity makes it a delicate joint in the face of trauma and overuse.
I address cases of complex fractures of the elbow, arthrosis causing stiffness and persistent pain, and SPORT INJURIES, such as epicondylitis, dislocations or ligament instability.
Each patient receives a personalised approach, which may include conservative treatments o surgery, The aim is always to restore function, relieve pain and promote effective recovery.
Most common elbow pathologies:
-
Complex elbow fractures (distal humerus, olecranon, radial head)
-
Elbow osteoarthritis
-
Epicondylitis (tennis elbow)
-
Epitrochleitis (golfer's elbow)
-
Olecranian bursitis
-
Elbow dislocation
-
Ligament instability
-
Ulnar nerve compression
-
Sports injuries of the elbow
